Joeisjapanese is an animated series about haafu Joe McCunney's adventures in Japan - witty, dry and based on reality if you believe the advertising. At the moment there is only a single long teaser clip on the site, but well worth a look, and the English subtitles will help beginners follow along. High production values and good writing - I'll be looking out for the follow up clips.

I'm really impressed with the production values on this. I wonder how many people they've got working on it--seems like a fairly large group from voice actors alone.

I want more too but everytime I go back....nothing new. I did watch the first clip again and it is a treat. As soon as a new clip comes out I'll post a link.

This is great. My phone Japanese isn't quite there.. yet, but I have had people ask how I came to speak Japanese as well as I do while on the phone with them. Despite me actually being pretty bad at it...
